While we may be the largest in the world, we limit our students to 8 per model.  EACH PERSON is instructed individually.  Includes: Portraits...poses...and nude and anatomy studies.  We have many live models to choose from.

From portraits, to detailed anatomy studies, to complex poses and forms; the Lynn Forbes School of Sculpture builds depth upon a solid foundation of instruction.

The School teaches in ceramic clay, plastilina clay, and wax; and assists in taking completed sculpture through finished clay bisque firing with a variety of patina finishes, or actual bronze casting.

A variety of 8+ different live models are used weekly in classes.  The School offers special vacation packages and workshops for individuals; and custom events for groups.

Lynn Forbes of Carlsbad

Sculptor Lynn Forbes is an established  artist with a studio/gallery and sculpture school located conveniently in scenic Carlsbad Village by the Sea, CA--literally one block from the ocean.

A local icon, Lynn Forbes regularly teaches "Sculpture by the Sea" (at "Sculpture Park" located at Pine Ave. and Carlsbad Blvd.) to her students.
